The surviving observation.

Released in the July 2026 PURSUE collection, this short infrared recording follows an area of contrast over the Yellow Sea. AARO's official description says that its appearance resembles a six-pointed star and that the sensor pans to keep it near the center of the display. The entry remains an unresolved UAP report. Crucially, its description is not an analytical determination of the target's validity, nature or significance. A distinctive sensor return is a reason to examine an image closely; it does not establish that the physical object has that shape, or that the recording shows unusual propulsion or flight performance.

What the record establishes.

  1. 01

U.S. Indo-Pacific Command supplied the infrared footage to AARO.

  2. 02

The public title identifies the Yellow Sea and the year 2025.

  3. 03

The official description is expressly informational, not an analytical judgment.

Where the evidence stops.

No public exact encounter coordinate, independently measured speed or physical target shape is established. The star-like appearance may reflect imaging characteristics; no specific explanation is asserted here.
