The surviving observation.
GoFast appears to show a small object racing close to the sea. AARO's February 2025 analysis reached a different conclusion: the target was approximately 13,000 feet above the Atlantic off Florida, and the apparent rapid movement was affected by viewing geometry and parallax. Accounting for the wind, its assessed speed range was roughly 5 to 92 mph. AARO expressed high confidence that the object displayed no anomalous performance characteristics, while explicitly saying it could not definitively identify it. This is a resolution of the dramatic speed interpretation, not a complete identification of everything visible in the frame.

Approximate regional marker, not an encounter coordinate
AARO's February 2025 resolution card names the eastern coast of Florida. The marker represents that offshore region.
What the record establishes.
- 01
AARO assessed an altitude of approximately 13,000 feet rather than near the sea surface.
- 02
Its wind-adjusted speed estimate ranged from about 5 to 92 mph.
- 03
AARO did not definitively identify the object.
Where the evidence stops.
Resolved refers to the anomalous-performance claim. AARO's speed estimates depend on geometry, wind and heading assumptions; the object itself remains unidentified.
